Payment and Pricing
All prices are shown inclusive of VAT at 20% (unless stated otherwise), in British pounds sterling (GBP) and will be billed in British pounds sterling. hmsofas.co.uk accepts debit and credit card payments online and also accepts payment by company or personal cheque. Be aware that if your credit card supplier operates using another currency, they will convert payment from British pounds sterling (GBP) to their operating currency at their current exchange rates. If paying by cheque, funds are required to have cleared before and services or products are shipped. Cheques will normally clear in three to five working days and these should be made payable to hmsofas.co.uk. hmsofas.co.uk is only able to accept cheques drawn on a UK bank account and payable in GBP.
Once the order has been placed, cancellation is possible, but after 3 days deposit it is non-refundable. Any changes to the order are possible up to 3 days from the time of placing the order.
Refund Policy
Returns are accepted within 14 days from the delivery date. The product has to be brand new and in its original packaging. If the sofa has been assembled it CANNOT be returned. Buyer pays postage cost.
Debit and Credit Card Security
Credit and debit card processing is handled in a secure manner using Paypal. hmsofas.co.uk does not see or store your card details at any time.
Delivery
Standard delivery cost is calculated on the basis of post code or region and that cost applies to driver's assistance in bringing product to the ground floor only and assembly product in home.
There will be additional fee of £20 for each floor (eg. first floor- £20, second floor- £40, third floor - £60, etc) for L-shaped Corner Sofas and for U-shaped Corner Sofas.
Any transport damage (scratches, dents) must be reported to the driver upon delivery, please check the product with the driver at home. Any damage of this type not reported on the day of delivery will not be subject to complaint.
If sofa needs to be extra disassembled because there will be problem with bringing inside the house, it will also be extra charged (£30 - £50).
Delivery prices may change if transport requires a ferry.
